Rental Rules & Requirements
Here are the essential rules for renting and riding a Sea-Doo with us, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience:
- Minimum Age: You must be 19 years or older to rent. Riders must be at least 16 years old and accompanied by an adult if they are under 19.
- Weight Capacity: Each Sea-Doo has a maximum weight capacity of 495 lbs.
- Boating Competency: If you don’t have a valid Pleasure Craft Operator Card (PCOC), we’ll provide a temporary boater’s competency briefing on-site.
- Passenger Limit: A maximum of two people are allowed per Sea-Doo.
- Prohibited Substances: NO GLASS, NO ALCOHOL, NO DRUGS, or any impairing medications are allowed on or around the Sea-Doo. You must not operate the Sea-Doo while under the influence of these substances.
- Health Advisory: Sea-Doo riding is not recommended for pregnant individuals or anyone with certain medical conditions like heart problems or back injuries. You confirm you’re in good physical and mental condition to participate safely.
Booking, Payments & Cancellations
All Sea-Doo rental bookings depend on availability and confirmation from us. Rental rates are as shown on our website or as otherwise communicated. All prices are in Canadian Dollars (CAD).
You might need to pay in full or provide a deposit when you book. We’ll specify accepted payment methods during the booking process.
Our cancellation and refund policy will be clearly outlined when you book. It can vary based on rental duration and when you cancel, so please review it carefully.
Safety & Responsibility: The Important Stuff
All participants must sign a separate, detailed Liability Waiver, Release of Claims, Assumption of Risk, and Indemnity Agreement before starting their rental. This waiver explains the risks, releases our company from liability, and requires you to cover certain costs if your actions cause harm. Your rental won’t proceed without a signed waiver.
You are responsible for any damage to the rented Sea-Doo and its equipment beyond normal wear and tear. You agree to pay for repairs or replacements. We might ask for a damage deposit.
Triple Splash Sea-Doo Rentals Inc. isn’t responsible for any personal property that gets lost, stolen, or damaged during your rental or on our premises.
